Abstract (en)
To reduce discards as a result of deviations from the cutting register resulting from changes in the tension of the paper web, the individual partial paper webs (9.1 to 9.8) are grouped together to form one or more sections (16, 17). Before it enters a section cross-cutting device (19) of a folder (58), the route of the sections (16, 17) is continuously lengthened or shortened in accordance with the anticipated deviations in the cutting register.

Zum Vermindern von Makulatur infolge von Schnittregisterabweichungen, die als Ursache Papierbahnspannungsänderungen haben, werden die einzelnen Teilpapierbahnen (9.1 bis 9.8) zu einem oder mehreren Strängen (16, 17) zusammengefaßt. Die Wegstrecke der Stränge (16, 17) vor ihrem Einlauf in eine Strang-Querschneideinrichtung (19) eines Falzapparates (58) wird entsprechend der prognostizierten Schnittregister-Abweichungen fortlaufend verlängert oder verkürzt.
