Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a cover for a leaktight container which can be opened along a line of least resistance, by simple pulling, of the type comprising a fold (4) forming an angle which is substantially a right angle and constituting the said line of least resistance, characterised in that it is produced by stamping a sheet of steel of a thickness less than or equal to 0.16 mm. The line of least resistance permits the total or partial opening of the container. <??>The cover is preferably made from steel of a thickness of 0.10 to 0.16 mm and, at the level of the fold (4), the inner radius of curvature of the cover is from 10 to 50 mu m and the outer radius of curvature of the cover is from 100 to 200 mu m. <??>The invention applies to leaktight metal containers, such as ''beverage'' foodstuff cans or tray-type containers for precooked dishes. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un couvercle pour récipient étanche ouvrable selon une ligne de moindre résistance par simple traction, du type comportant un pli (4) formant un angle sensiblement droit et constituant ladite ligne de moindre résistance, caractérisé en ce qu'il est réalisé par emboutissage d'une feuille d'acier d'épaisseur inférieure ou égale à 0,16 mm. La ligne de moindre résistance permet l'ouverture totale ou partielle du récipient. Le couvercle est préférentiellement en acier d'épaisseur 0,10 à 0,16 mm, et au niveau du pli (4) le rayon de courbure interne du couvercle est de 10 à 50 µm, et le rayon de courbure externe du couvercle est de 100 à 200 µm. L'invention s'applique aux récipients métalliques étanches, tels que les boîtes "boisson" alimentaires ou les barquettes pour plats précuisinés.
