[origin: WO9013709A1] The point blades or braking bars of the installation described can each be moved with a bearing on a corresponding horizontal bearing surface of a bed plate or fixed support element, the bearing support of each bed plate or of each braking bar comprises several discrete part bearing surfaces (12) which are disposed discontinuously in the direction of motion of the point blade or braking bar. These part bearing surfaces take the form of coating elements applied to the bed plate or braking bar using a thermal process.
