[origin: EP0425855A1] The invention relates to an inking system for a printing machine with a changeable distributing roll (1) which is driven in rotation as the driving mechanism for an inking roll (4) resting against its periphery. According to the invention, driving is effected via a two-armed lever (6) which is pivotally mounted on one of the two rolls. The swivelling axis (8) of the lever (6) can be adjusted so that the axial movement of the distributing roll (1) is converted to the axial movement of the inking roll (4). The distributing stroke can be continuously adjusted even when the machine is operating.
