Abstract (en)
The bed has two lateral support frames (1, 1') which are symmetrical and are higher at the head end (2). The mattress support frame has three parts (3, 4, 5) which are joined together by transversal axles (6, 7). Pairs of levers (9, 10) join the ends of the axles and are articulated on an axle (8) on the base (2') of the frame. A telescopic bar (12) is fixed between the articulation (11) of one pair of levers (9, 9') and the base of the frame. It has a spring (13) round it which holds the bed in position. One branch (10') of the other pair of levers is telescopic.

Il se compose d'une structure support formée par des bâtis, sur la structure desquels le sommier est assemblé, divisé en trois secteurs (3, 4, 5) qui sont reliés d'une manière articulée au moyen d'axes transversaux, (6, 7) la pression exercée par l'usager sans descendre du lit produisant un mouvement basculant des trois tronçon (3, 4, 5) du sommier, grâce au fait que le tronçon supérieur (3) bascule sur un axe (17) prévu dans la structure support, (2) disposé entre l'extrémité supérieure et inférieure du tronçon supérieur (3) du sommier, l'usager pouvant fixer la position voulue au moyen d'un mécanisme de blocage. <IMAGE>
