The milling machine for carrying out the method has, for profiling the two ends (24, 25) of a beam-like workpiece (26), two milling heads (12, 13) which rotate in opposite directions and are advanced by means of slides (16, 17) which are displaceable transversely to the longitudinal direction of the workpieces (26). Fixed to the slides (16, 17) are guide parts (49, 50) of a guide way, running in the longitudinal direction of the workpieces (26), and stops (44, 45) for positioning the workpieces (26), which are situated between two fixed clamping sections (31, 32) of the guide way. In the working position, the workpieces (26) are held by means of clamping elements (33-35) of the clamping sections (31, 32) so as to bear on a fixedly mounted wooden counter-member (39, 40). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Fräsmaschine zur Ausführung des Verfahrens hat für die Profilierung der beiden Enden (24,25) eines balkenartigen Werkstückes (26) zwei sich in Gegenrichtung drehende Fräsköpfe (12,13), deren Vorschubbewegung durch Schlitten (16,17) erfolgt, die quer zur Längsrichtung der Werkstücke (26) verschiebbar sind. An den Schlitten (16,17) sind Führungsteile (49,50) einer in Längsrichtung der Werkstücke (26) verlaufenden Führungsbahn sowie Anschläge (44,45) für die Positionierung der Werkstücke (26) befestigt, die sich zwischen zwei feststehenden Klemmstrecken (31,32) der Führungsbahn befinden. In Bearbeitungsposition sind die Werkstücke (26) an einem fest montierten Konterholz (39.40) anliegend durch Klemmelemente (33-35) der Klemmstrecken (31,32) gehalten.
