[origin: WO9014920A1] A device for actuating the welding electrode or tongs of resistance welding units in automatic welding machines, robots or the like, consisting of a rigid-framed cylinder and a piston inserted therein and connected to the welding electrode or the actuated arm of the welding tongs, in which the piston (2) takes the form of a sleeve open at one end to take an electrically operated spindle drive consisting of an internally threaded nut (3) and an externally threaded spindle (5). The threaded nut (3) is rigidly secured in the piston (2) secured to the welding electrode or the actuated arm of the welding tongs and axially movable in the cylinder (1) and the threaded spindle (5) rotatably fitted in the cylinder (1) is connected to an electric motor drive system (7). The welding cylinder consists of an electronically-commutated three-phase motor with integrated rotor-bearing system, in which the motor shaft consists of a hollow shaft with a fixed shaft nut and is mounted by means of an axial-radial bearing in a bearing support flange.

Dispositif de commande d'une électrode de soudage ou d'une pince de soudage dans des appareils de soudage par résistance appartenant à des machines automatiques de soudage, robots ou installations analogues de soudage, comprenant un cylindre monté à demeure sur un bâti, et un piston guidé dans ledit cylindre et relié à l'électrode de soudage ou au bras de commande de la pince de soudage, dispositif dans lequel le piston (2) est formé par un manchon ouvert d'un côté, en vue de recevoir un mécanisme d'entraînement d'une broche comprenant un manchon taraudé (3) et une broche filetée (5) et commandé par un moteur électrique. Le manchon taraudé (3) est fixé rigidement dans le piston (2) guidé axialement à l'intérieur du cylindre (1) et relié à l'électrode de soudage, cependant que la broche filetée (5) montée en rotation dans le cylindre (1) est reliée à une commande électrique (7). Le cylindre de soudage est formé par un moteur triphasé à commutation électronique avec système de palier-rotor intégré, dans lequel l'arbre-moteur est constitué par un arbre creux à écrou à manchon à liaison rigide et est monté au moyen d'un palier axial-radial dans une bride d'appui du palier.
