[origin: EP0426888A1] Referred to here is a knife with a knife sheath (1), in which the blade (12) of the knife has a perforation (16) and the knife sheath is provided with a bearing plate (2) which forms a shearing blade and on which is provided a peg (5) which serves to retain and guide the knife blade and is to be guided through the perforation (16) and which has a peg head (7), an upper face limiting the play of the blade (12) after assembly of blade and knife sheath (1) being present, said face being formed by the side of the peg head (7) facing the blade (12), and likewise a lower face which limits the play between blade (12) and knife sheath (1) and faces the side of the blade (12) located opposite the peg head (7) being present. A part (19) of the lower face is designed to be able to move vertically, i.e. perpendicularly to the rest of the face. <IMAGE>
