[origin: EP0426917A1] A water craft (10) is of one-piece construction having a bow section (11) provided on the underside with a pair of parallel runners (13) and a recessed central portion (14). In addition, the craft has a stern section (12) which narrows toward the rear and which has a chine (16) on the underside in spaced relation to the runners (13) to provide two channels (17) for a flow of water. The stern section (12) also has a flat deck (19) for seating or standing of a user thereon depending upon the use of the craft (10), for example, as a rescue craft or as a sail boat.
