[origin: EP0426941A1] The invention relates to a pushbutton arrangement for actuating a controllable element of a watch, having a button head 1 which projects radially from the watch case 16 and which is arranged so as to be axially displaceable. Located on the button head 1 is an actuating tappet 10 which can be displaced axially through a recess 15 in the watch case 16 axially into the case interior by means of the button head 1 and by which the controllable element can be actuated. At the same time, the button head 1 and actuating tappet 10 can be spring-loaded towards the housing interior. The button head 1 and actuating tappet 10 are displaceable axially relative to one another counter to a spring force. In the position of the button head further from the case, the actuating tappet 10 can be blocked in its position external to the case by a locking element fixed to the case. In the position of the button head 1 nearer to the case, the locking element can be moved by the button head 1 into a position cancelling the blocking of the actuating tappet 10. <IMAGE>
