Abstract (en)
A gripper device (3) having a clamp (6) is laid against the casing (4) of a sliver can (1). The can (1) is rotatable about its axis (30) with the result that one end (31) of a sliver (2) is also movable in the direction of the gripper device (3). As a result of the rotation of the can (1), the sliver (2) is inserted into the clamp (6) and drawn through the latter until the desired position of the sliver end (31) is reached. At this moment, the clamp (6) is closed and the sliver end (31) is fixed to the gripper device (3). The clamp (6) consists of two clamping elements which are actuated by a cam disc having trip cams. The control is obtained by means of sensors and a drive motor. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Greifeinrichtung (3) mit einer Klemme (6) wird an den Mantel (4) einer Faserbandkanne (1) angelegt. Die Kanne (1) ist um ihre Achse (30) drehbar, wodurch auch ein Ende (31) eines Faserbandes (2) in Richtung der Greifeinrichtung (3) bewegbar ist. Durch Drehen der Kanne (1) wird das Faserband (2) in die Klemme (6) eingelegt und durch diese gezogen, bis die gewünschte Position des Bandendes (31) erreicht ist. In diesem Moment wird die Klemme (6) geschlossen und das Bandende (31) an der Greifeinrichtung (3) festgelegt. Die Klemme (6) besteht aus zwei Klemmelementen, welche durch eine Kurvenscheibe mit Schaltnocken betätigt werden. Die Steuerung erfolgt über Sensoren und einen Antriebsmotor.
