Abstract (en)
A device for coating planar workpieces with free-flowing materials has an application roller (11) and a mating roller, between which the workpiece is inserted, as well as a metering roller (10) which is arranged parallel to the application roller (11) and can be pressed against it. In this case, the metering roller (10) is arranged in a swinging element (15) so as to be capable of pivoting about a horizontal axis perpendicular to the direction of the adjustment stroke, the swinging element (15) itself being pivotably seated in a horizontally displaceable, lockable bearing block (14). A pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder (16) which acts on the swinging element (15) in order to set the adjustment stroke and thus the contact pressure between the application roller (11) and metering roller (10) is permanently arranged in this bearing block. With this arrangement, frictional effects are reduced to a minimum and extremely precise control of the application gap, in particular even with low contact forces, is thus made possible. <IMAGE>

Eine Vorrichtung zur Beschichtung planer Werkstücke (mit fließfähigen Werkstoffen weist eine Auftragswalze (11) und eine Gegenwalze auf, zwischen denen das Werkstück durchgeschoben wird, sowie eine parallel zur Auftragswalze (11) angeordnete und gegen diese anpreßbare Dosierwalze (10). Die Dosierwalze (10) ist hierbei in einem Pendelglied (15) um eine horizontale Achse senkrecht zur Richtung des Verstellhubes schwenkbar angeordnet, das Pendelglied (15) seinerseits sitzt schwenkbar in einem horizontal verschiebbaren, feststellbaren Lagerblock (14). In diesem Lagerblock ist fest angeordnet ein Pneumatik- oder Hydraulikzylinder (16), der das Pendelglied (15) zur Einstellung des Verstellhubes und damit des Anpreßdruckes zwischen Auftrags- (11) und Dosierwalze (10) beaufschlagt. Mit dieser Anordnung sind Reibungseffekte auf ein Minimum reduziert und es kann somit eine äußerst präzise Steuerung des Auftragsspaltes insbesondere auch bei geringen Andruckkräften ermöglicht werden.
