[origin: EP0427216A2] 2.1 The object on which the invention is based is to design a geared hand lever, which is mounted on a housing (2) fixable to a casement and in which there is arranged in the housing a gear having a driving element (5) and a driven element (11, 12), in such a way that, whilst a high stroke of the driven element is maintained, the housing (2) has a small width, a uniform force transmission from the driving element (5) to the driven element is achieved and the bearing behaviour of the driven element in the housing is improved. 2.2 This object is achieved in that the driving element (5) is equipped with two cylindrical pinions (6) which are arranged diametrically relative to its axis of rotation and which engage into two intersecting control cams of a slide plate (11) forming the driven element. 2.3 The geared hand lever is used for windows or doors. <IMAGE>
