The invention relates to a drying apparatus for material webs, especially paper or fibre webs, moved at high speed, which consists of appropriately one row of steam-heated cylinders, located especially on essentially the same horizontal plane, and of appropriately one row of unheated deflecting rollers which are located approximately in interspaces of these cylinders and are mounted especially likewise in a horizontal plane arranged below or above the abovementioned horizontal plane and the casing of which is perforated and/or provided with grooves, a suction of air from these deflection rollers being provided, and these cylinders and the deflecting rollers being equipped with a single-wire screen band covering, and the material web lying on the cylinders between their casing and the screen band or the like, whilst, on the deflecting rollers, the screen band comes to lie on the casing of the rollers and the material web externally on the screen band. The invention is primarily characterised in that the arrangement of an air-blowing device 1, which loops at least partially, for example completely, with movement play round the casing of the deflecting roller 2 touched by the screen band or the like, is provided. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Trocknungsvorrichtung für mit hoher Geschwindigkeit bewegte Material-, insbesondere Papier- bzw. Faserstoffbahnen, die aus zweckmäßig einer Reihe von dampfbeheizten, insbesondere im wesentlichen auf derselben Horizontalebene befindlichen Zylindern und aus zweckmäßig einer Reihe von unbeheizten, etwa in Zwischenräumen dieser Zylinder befindlichen, insbesondere ebenfalls in einer unterhalb oder oberhalb der vorerwähnten Hotizontalebene angeordneten Horizontalebene gelagerten Umlenkwalzen besteht, deren Mantel perforiert und bzw. oder mit Nuten versehen ist, wobei eine Absaugung von Luft aus diesen Umlenkwalzen vorgesehen ist und wobei diese Zylinder und die Umlenkwalzen mit einer Einsiebbandbespannung ausgerüstet sind sowie die Materialbahn an den Zylindern zwischen deren Mantel und dem Siebband oder dergleichen liegt, während an den Umlenkwalzen das Siebband auf dem Mantel der Walzen und die Materialbahn außen am Siebband zu liegen kommt. Die Erfindung ist vornehmlich dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Anordnung einer Luftblaseeinrichtung 1, die den vom Siebband oder dergleichen berührten Mantel der Umlenkwalze 2 mindestens zum Teil, beispielsweise ganz, mit Bewegungsspiel umschlingt, vorgesehen ist.
