Top-loading laundry dryer with a horizontal laundry drum, characterised in that the laundry drum (5) comprises two flanges (14,15) which, during the drying of laundry, perform a plurality of functions simultaneously, namely that of bearings or supports for the rotation of the shell of this drum, that of passages for the drying air, that of means for guiding and correcting the movement of the laundry in this drum, that of means for preventing the creasing of the laundry, and that of protective casings for the heating and ventilating devices. <IMAGE>

Sèche-linge à ouverture par le dessus et à tambour horizontal à linge, caractérisé en ce que le tambour à linge (5) comprend deux flasques (14,15) qui remplissent, au cours d'un séchage d'un linge, simultanément plusieurs fonctions, à savoir celle de apliers ou supports pour la rotation de la virole de ce tambour, celle de passages pour l'air de séchage, celle de moyens de guidage et de correction du mouvement du linge dans ce tambour, celle de moyens de défroissage du linge, celle d'enveloppes de protection des dispositifs de chauffage et de ventilation.
