[origin: WO9000972A1] In a replaceable ink reservoir for printing devices, which consists of a supporting casing with a diaphragm fitted above it, a mechanical contact element (13) is located inside the reservoir in the region of the floor of the supporting casing. The contact element (13) acts in concert with the elastic wall (11) of the reservoir so that, when a certain minimum ink volume is reached, the elastic wall (11) of the collapsed reservoir opens the contact element. The contact element can be designed so that, when the ink drops to the minimum level, the contact element remains in the contact position irrespective of whether the reservoir is refilled with ink.

Un réservoir d'encre amovible pour systèmes d'écriture à encre, constitué d'un support sur lequel est disposé une feuille gonflable, est équipé intérieurement d'un élément mécanique de contact (13) placé dans le fond du support. Ce contact (13) coopère avec la paroi élastique (11) du réservoir d'encre de telle manière que lorsque le volume minimum est atteint cette paroi élastique (11) du réservoir affaissé provoque l'ouverture du contact. Le contact peut être constitué de telle manière qu'une fois le volume minimum atteint il conserve sa position de contact indépendamment d'un nouveau remplissage du réservoir avec de l'encre.
