A cast-iron and concrete circular manhole with a concrete-filled, trough-shaped shell (1) which merges into a peripheral wall (5) with a bottom bearing surface (7) has a number of air openings designed as elongated holes or slots which are each arranged near the edge and are connected to the peripheral wall (5) by a flange (19) at the top of the manhole, an engagement pocket for a lifting tool which can be inserted through the air openings (17) being formed beneath the flange. <IMAGE>

Ein kreisrunder Schachtdeckel aus Gußeisen und Beton mit einer betongefüllten, muldenförmigen Schale (1), die in eine Umfangswandung (5) mit unterer Auflagefläche (7) übergeht, hat eine Anzahl von als Langlöcher oder Schlitze ausgebildeten Lüftungsöffnungen, die jeweils in Randnähe angeordnet und mit der Umfangswandung (5) durch einen an der Deckeloberseite liegenden Flansch (19) verbunden sind, wobei unterhalb des Flansches eine Eingriffstasche für ein durch die Lüftungsöffnungen (17) einführbares Aushebewerkzeug ausgebildet ist.
