Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0427995A1] In spreading devices with a spreading plate (1) as spreading member, which is motor-driven to rotate about an essentially vertical shaft (8) and provided with a number of essentially radially running casting shovels (15) which end at a central guide member (9), granular material to be spread is selectively supplied via a granular-material chute (11) to the guide member (9) and in this region mixed with moistening liquid. For better mixing of the media to be spread and guarantee of more uniform distribution of material to be spread, the spreading plate (1) is provided along the casing surface of the cylindrical or frustoconical guide member (9) with more than twelve impact surfaces (10) which are formed by tooth profiles of the guide member (9) or by the inner end sections of the casting shovels (15) and which, in the respective point of intersection (13) with the apex line (12) of the granular-material chute (11), form with the radial running through this point of intersection (13) an angle of incidence of approximately 40 DEG to 60 DEG . These impact surfaces are adjoined by the casting shovels (15) in such a manner that they run in the same direction as the impact surfaces (10) at least in the inner third of the spreading plate radius.
