A low-voltage circuit breaker has a lever contact arrangement having a contact lever (1) which can be displaced in its longitudinal direction. On switching on, a chamfered sliding surface (20), provided on the bearing-side end of the contact lever (1), and an oblique operating surface (21), located on the fixed-position support (5) of the pivotable contact lever (1), cause a displacement of the interacting switching pieces (2, 6), which are in contact, in order to remove extraneous layers, particles and condensation deposited there. <IMAGE>

Ein Niederspannungs-Leistungsschalter besitzt eine Hebelkontaktanordnung mit einem in seiner Längsrichtung verschiebbaren Kontakthebel (1). Beim Einschalten bewirken eine am lagerseitigen Ende des Kontakthebels (1) versehene abgerundete Gleitfläche (20) und eine an dem ortsfesten Träger (5) des schwenkbaren Kontakthebels (1) befindliche schräge Arbeitsfläche (21) eine Verschiebung der in Berührung stehenden zusammenwirkenden Schaltstücke (2, 6), um dort abgelagerte Fremdschichten, Partikel und Niederschläge zu entfernen.
