[origin: WO9015673A1] A laminar impressor for coating flat substrates, such as thermoplastic sheets and films, with radiation-curable coating compositions. The laminar flexible impressor comprises a non-adhering impressor belt (10) which is impressed onto the uncured coating on the surface of the flat substrate (14). The coating is cured by irradiation while the impressor belt (10) is still in contact with the coating. The impressor belt is removed from the cured coating (24), leaving a firmly adhered coating into which the surface texture of the laminar belt (10) has been faithfully transferred.

Une unité d'impression laminaire sert à revêtir des substrats plats, tels que des feuilles et des pellicules thermoplastiques, avec des compositions de revêtement durcissables sous l'effet de rayonnements. L'unité d'impression souple laminaire comprend une courroie imprimeuse (10) non adhérente comprimée sur le revêtement non durci à la surface du substrat plat (14). Le revêtement est durci par irradiation pendant que la courroie imprimeuse (10) est encore en contact avec le revêtement. Puis on enlève la courroie imprimeuse du revêtement durci (24), ce qui permet d'obtenir un revêtement fermement collé sur lequel la texture superficielle de la courroie laminaire (10) a été fidèlement transférée.
