The production of soldered disc-type oil coolers presents manufacturing difficulties if two plate halves stacked one upon the other to form a hollow body are to form a defined gap of importance for the soldering process, especially at their outer edges. <??>The invention proposes that the individual disc elements should be constructed from two plates (13, 14) of circular or elliptical shape and that their edges should overlap one another and be matched to one another in such a way that the outer edge (19) latches in at the inner edge (16) of the other plate and is held there under stress. <??>Applications: engine or gearbox oil coolers. <IMAGE>

Die Herstellung von gelöteten Scheibenölkühlern bringt herstellungstechnische Schwierigkeiten mit sich, wenn zwei zur Bildung eines Hohlkörpers aufeinandergestapelte Plattenhälften, insbesondere an ihren Außenrändern einen definierten, für den Lötvorgang wichtigen Spalt bilden sollen. Es wird vorgeschlagen, die einzelnen Scheibenkörper aus zwei Platten (13,14) kreisrunder oder elliptischer Form so aufzubauen, das sich deren Ränder gegenseitig überlappen und dabei so aufeinander abgestimmt sind, daß der äußere Rand (19) einrastend und unter Spannung am inneren Rand (16) der anderen Platte gehalten ist. Verwendung für Motor- oder Getriebeölkühler.
