[origin: EP0428962A2] 2.1 The object on which the invention is based is to design a wall footing for an upright profile in such a way that the wall footing can be adjusted in three dimensions within a wide range. 2.2 The wall footing (1) has a base plate (2) and a receiving shoe (4), arranged vertically adjustably between vertical guideways (3) of the base plate, for the lower end of the upright profile (6). Provided adjacent to the front ends of the base plate is in each case one passage bore (30) for a fastening screw (31), the passage bore having a substantially larger diameter than the fastening screw. The passage bore is assigned an adjusting plate (27), through which the shank of the fastening screw is guided and on which the head of the fastening screw is supported. 2.3 The invention is used in building construction. <IMAGE>
