[origin: CA2030044A1] A quick-clamping device operated by centrifugal force, for clamping a disposable, reversible blade to the cutter head or the cutter shaft of a planing machine. According to the invention, the quick-clamping device is characterized by a centrifugal clamping wedge 2 having a cross-sectional configuration similar to an inverted T-shape. For clamping a disposable, reversible blade 3, the centrifugal clamping wedge 2 is disposed in a groove 1.1, having substantially the same configuration, of a rotatable tool base body 1, and is supported in resilient manner against the groove bottom 1.2.
