[origin: WO9015569A1] A television camera system for use in sterile conditions comprises a television camera (2) which can be flange-mounted on a medical instrument, in particular an endoscope, and which is connected by a cable (1) to a separate control unit. The television camera and the cable are surrounded by a sterile sheath in the form of a flexible tube (16). The system is characterized by the following combination of features: A device (3, 4) for pulling the cable into the control unit (11) is provided. A receptacle (15) for the television camera is incorporated in the control unit. A contracted flexible tubular sheath (16) is arranged on the control unit in front of the receptacle for the television camera so that the camera can be grasped through the sheath and moved away from the control unit together with the cable, the camera and the cable being automatically covered with the sterile sheath. The control unit contains an illumination device (L1, L2) the light from which travels along a fibre optic (5, 6) to the endoscope. The electrical control lines for the camera and the fibre optic for the illumination light are arranged in a single cable.

Un système de caméra de télévision utilisable dans des conditions stériles comprend une caméra de télévision (2) qui peut être assujettie au moyen d'une bride à un appareil médical, notamment un endoscope, et qui est reliée par un câble (1) à une unité séparée de commande, la caméra de télévision et le câble étant entourés d'une enveloppe tubulaire stérile (16). Le système se caractérise par la combinaison des particularités suivantes: un dispositif (3, 4) d'enroulement du câble par tirage est agencé dans l'unité de commande (11); l'unité de commande comprend un réceptable (15) intégré pour la caméra de télévision; une enveloppe tubulaire contractée (16) est agencée devant le réceptable de la caméra de télévision, de sorte que la caméra peut être saisie à travers l'enveloppe et éloignée avec le câble de l'unité de commande, la caméra et le câble étant automatiquement recouverts par l'enveloppe stérile; un dispositif d'éclairage (L1, L2) est agencé dans l'unité de commande et sa lumière est transmise à l'endoscope par une fibre optique (5, 6); les lignes électriques de commande de la caméra et la fibre optique de transmission de la lumière d'éclairage sont agencées dans un seul câble.
