Abstract (en)

For the continuous electrolytic recovery of metals in nonhomogeneous form from a solution containing metal ions, use is made of an endless flexible titanium belt (7) as cathode area. The belt (7) is partially immersed in the solution and passes through it, being guided in the solution around a cathode roller (2) which is partially surrounded by a titanium anode (5) with an activation coating. After leaving the solution the metal deposited as a nonhomogeneous material is removed from the flexible belt by a stripper device (13). <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Zum kontinuierlichen elektrolytischen Austragen von Metallen in inhomogener Form aus einer Metallionen enthaltenden Lösung dient ein teilweise in die Lösung eintauchendes, durch die Lösung laufendes endloses flexibles Band (7) aus Titan als Kathodenfläche, das in der Lösung über eine Kathodenwalze (2) geführt wird, die teilweise von einer Anode (5) aus Titan mit Aktivierungsbeschichtung umgeben ist. Nach Verlassen der Lösung wird das als inhomogenes Material abgeschiedene Metall durch eine Abstreifvorrichtung (13) vom flexiblen Band abgetrennt. <IMAGE>
