[origin: WO9104859A1] In a device for clamping a pressure plate (7) with positional accuracy on an impression cylinder (1), the zero position of the front slide rail (4) is located in the stop (12) which is fastened to the cylinder on the side (16) facing the rear slide rail (5) and which forms the cylinder gap (3). Spring means (13) press the front slide rail (4) against the stop (12). The invention is particularly advantageous because the zero position of the pressure plate (7) which defines the printed image in relation to the machine is set by placing the front slide rail (4) in direct contact with the stop (12) and not by trial and error.
