Inserted into the headlamp housing (1) is a unit which consists of a reflector (4), a lens (5), an adjustable diaphragm (7) and an operating lever (17) serving as manual adjusting device for the diaphragm. In both end positions, the adjustable diaphragm (7) is pressed by a spring (32) against a fixed stop. Integrally formed on the adjustable diaphragm (7) is a rigid tongue (15) which engages with play in a slot (16) of the two-armed operating lever (17), which is pivotably mounted on the reflector rim (23). The slot (16) is introduced into the free end of one arm of the operating lever (17), while the other arm extends in a doubly bent fashion such that its free end region (21) is adjacent to the lamp holder (9) accommodating the incandescent lamp and serves as a handle for the operating lever (17). <IMAGE>

In das Scheinwerfergehäuse (1) ist eine Einheit eingesetzt, welche aus einem Reflektor (4), einer Linse (5), einer verstellbaren Blende (7) und einem als manuelle Verstellvorrichtung für die Blende dienenden Betätigungshebel (17) besteht. Die verstellbare Blende (7) wird in beiden Endstellungen von einer Feder (32) gegen einen ortsfesten Anschlag gedrückt. An die verstellbare Blende (7) ist eine starre Zunge (15) angeformt, welche mit Spiel in einen Schlitz (16) des zweiarmigen Betätigungshebels (17) eingreift, welcher schwenkbar an dem Reflektorrand (23) gelagert ist. Der Schlitz (16) ist in das freie Ende des einen Arms des Betätigungshebels (17) eingebracht, während der andere Arm derart zweifach abgeknickt verläuft, daß sein freier Endbereich (21) der die Glühlampe aufnehmenden Fassung (9) benachbart ist und für den Betätigungshebel (17) als Handhabe dient. <IMAGE>
