[origin: EP0430141A1] In a thermal and acoustical insulation sheet, in particular for flat roofs, which is capable of being rolled up and comprises lath-shaped strips which lie next to one another, are of rectangular cross-section and are composed of expanded polystyrene (1), and are connected to one another on one side by means of a continuous, flexible, backing web (2) so as to be capable of being rolled up, provision is made, for use also with so-called reversible roofs, for the flexible backing web (2) to consist of a water-insensitive, vapour-permeable nonwoven fabric (2) and to be laminated on the upper surface of an extruded expanded polystyrene (1). <IMAGE>
