Machine for the lapping of bores, comprising at least one lapping spindle (1) driven in a rotational movement about its axis and in an oscillating axial translational movement and carrying, at its free end, at least one expansion lapper, the expansion of which is controlled by expansion head (5) mounted on the spindle at a location distant from the lapper, this head comprising, for each lapper, an expansion control motor (9, 9'), the movement of which is transmitted to the lapper by mechanical transmission, characterised in that a displacement sensor (23) is associated with the transmission between the expansion motor (9, 9') and the lapper, to detect the position of an element of said transmission and to transmit it to the expansion control. <IMAGE>

Machine de rodage d'alésages, comprenant au moins une broche de rodage (1) animée d'un mouvement de rotation autour de son axe et d'un mouvement oscillatoire en translation axiale, et portant à son extrémité libre au moins un rodoir à expansion dont l'expansion est commandée par une tête d'expansion (5) montée sur la broche en un endroit éloigné du rodoir, cette tête comprenant pour chaque rodoir un moteur de commande d'expansion (9, 9') dont le mouvement est transmis au rodoir par une transmission mécanique, caractérisée par le fait qu'un capteur de déplacement (23) est associé à la transmission, entre le moteur d'expansion (9, 9') et le rodoir, pour détecteur la position d'un élément de ladite transmission et la transmettre à la commande d'expansion. <IMAGE>
