Abstract (en)
A monobloc box for a roller shutter is composed of a U-section profile (7) each end (14, 15) of which is covered by a lateral side-plate (16, 17), and of a removable front cover (13), this box enclosing at least one shaft (25) supporting a shutter (26) and having, at the level of its ends, tail shafts (35) held by support cheeks (36, 37) located in the same vertical plane as slides (31, 32) serving as a guide for the lateral ends of the shutter, one of these tail shafts (35) being provided with an operating device (38) placed, with respect to the shutter (26), beyond the corresponding support cheek (36). In order to improve the mechanical strength, the fixing to the casing frame (2) of a window or similar (4) and the design of this monobloc box, its support cheeks (36, 37) are independent of the lateral side-plates (16, 17) and provided with means (40, 41, 52) ensuring a direct connection between them and the said casing frame (2). <IMAGE>

Un caisson monobloc pour volet roulant est composé d'un profilé de section en "U" (7) donc chaque extrémité (14, 15) est obturée par un flasque latéral (16, 17), et d'un couvercle frontal (13) amovible, ce caisson renfermant au moins un arbre (25) supportant un tablier (26) et présentant, au niveau de ses extrémités des bouts d'arbre (35) maintenus par des joues-supports (36, 37) situées dans le même plan vertical que des coulisses (31, 32) servant de guide aux extrémités latérales du tablier, l'un de ces bouts d'arbre (35) étant muni d'un dispositif de manoeuvre (38) placé, par rapport au tablier (26), au-delà de la joue-support (36) correspondante. De manière à améliorer la tenue mécanique, la fixation sur le cadre dormant (2) d'une fenêtre ou analogue (4) et la conception de ce caisson monobloc, ses joues-supports (36, 37) sont indépendantes des flasques latéraux (16, 17) et pourvues de moyens (40, 41, 52) assurant une liaison directe entre elles et ledit cadre dormant (2).
