Abstract (en)
The compact apparatus for making, portioning, bagging and storing clear ice cubes (1) comprises at least one freezing device (10), an insulated intermediate storage housing (20) mounted below this with a bottom-side outlet opening (27), a device (40) for portioning and bagging the ice cubes (1) into bags (2) and an insulated storage housing (30) mounted below this for bags (3) filled with ice cubes (1). In the intermediate storage housing (20), there is provided a bottom plate (21) which is suspended movably on springs (22), is inclined towards the outlet opening (27) and, depending upon the weight of the ice cubes (1), actuates limit switches (23). To disperse the ice cubes (1) and for transport of the same to the outlet opening (27), rotating turnstiles (26) and a rotating tubular worm (25) are provided. The portioning and bagging device (40) has a filling chamber (41) with one cover-side and one bottom-side scissors-type closure (42, 43). The storage housing (30) has a charging opening (33) closed with a strip curtain and a removal opening (34) closed with a pivoting flap. In front of the removal opening (34), possibly also in front of the charging opening (33), a cold air veil (35) is produced with the aid of a refrigerating machine (36) with evaporator (37), which veil prevents the penetration of warm air into the storage container and at the same time keeps the storage temperature below freezing point. Inside the storage container (30), a slide plate (31) is suspended at an angle on springs (32) in such a manner that the filled bags (3) collect in the region of the removal opening (34). <IMAGE>

Die kompakte Vorrichtung zum Herstellen, Portionieren, Abfüllen und Lagern von klaren Kleineiskörpern (1) umfaßt wenigstens eine Gefriereinrichtung (10), ein darunter montiertes, isoliertes Zwischenlagergehäuse (20) mit einer bodenseitigen Auslaßöffnung (27), einer Einrichtung (40) zum Portionieren und Abfüllen der Kleineiskörper (1) in Beutel (2) und ein darunter montiertes isoliertes Lagergehäuse (30) für mit Kleineiskörpern (1) gefüllte Beutel (3). Im Zwischenlagergehäuse (20) ist eine an Federn (22) beweglich aufgehängte Bodenplatte (21) vorgesehen, die zur Auslaßöffnung (27) hin geneigt ist und in Abhängigkeit vom Gewicht der Kleineiskörper (1) Endschalter (23) betätigt. Zum Auflockern der Kleineiskörper (1) und zum Transport derselben zur Auslaßöffnung (27) sind rotierende Drehkreuze (26) sowie eine rotierende Rohrschnecke (25) vorgesehen. Die Portionier- und Abfülleinrichtung (40) besitzt eine Füllkammer (41) mit je einem deckenseitigen und bodenseitigen Scherenverschluß (42, 43). Das Lagergehäuse (30) besitzt eine mit einem Streifenvorhang verschlossene Einwurföffnung (33) und eine mit einer Schwenkklappe verschlossene Entnahmeöffnung (34). Vor der Entnahmeöffnung (34), gegebenenfalls auch vor der Einwurföffnung (33) wird mit Hilfe einer Kältemaschine (36) mit Verdampfer (37) ein Kaltluftschleier (35) erzeugt, der das Eindringen von Warmluft in den Lagerbehälter verhindert und gleichzeitig die Lagertemperatur unterhalb des Gefrierpunktes hält. Im Inneren des Lagerbehälters (30) ist eine Rutschplatte (31) an Federn (32) derart schräg aufgehängt, daß sich die gefüllten Beutel (3) im Bereich der Entnahmeöffnung (34) sammeln.
