[origin: EP0431278A2] The invention relates to a ratchet wrench having a ratchet wheel (3) which is rotatably mounted in the head end of the tool shank (1), can be arrested in either direction of rotation by a spring-loaded locking piece (4) and is provided with a central opening for the passage of a workpiece, on the wrench faces of which a socket (9) connected to the ratchet wheel (3) via coupling faces can be mounted.
