The invention relates to a liquid- and gas-tight lidded package composed of a pot-shaped or shell-shaped body (K) made of hot-sealable plastic-coated cardboard multilayer composite material and a sealed-on lid (D) made of plastic, in particular plastic-coated cardboard multilayer composite material or plastic multilayer composite material with a cardboard insert (6), which is hot-sealable at least on one side. It is achieved by a particular folding geometry of the corner areas of the blank that the cutting edges (29-32) of the blank are of simple design and lie on one line on each of its sides in the state set up to form the body. The lidded package thus obtained is liquid- and gas-tight with a seamless body and is therefore suitable for packaging perishable or fresh and deep-frozen foodstuffs which are to be packaged aseptically. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine flüssigkeits- und gasdichte Deckelpackung aus einem topf- oder schalenförmigen Korpus (K) aus heißsiegelfähigem Kartonkunststoffmehrschichtverbundmaterial und einem darauf aufgesiegelten Deckel (D) aus zumindest einseitig heißsiegelfähigem Kunststoff, insbesondere Kartonkunststoff- oder Kunststoffmehrschichtverbundmaterial mit Kartoneinlage (6). Aufgrund einer besonderen Faltgeometrie der Eckenfelder des Zuschnittes wird erreicht, daß die Schnittkanten (29-32) des Zuschnittes einfach gestaltet sind und im zum Korpus aufgefalteten Zustand an jeder seiner Seiten auf einer Linie liegen. Die so erhaltene Deckelpackung ist bei nahtlosem Korpus flüssigkeits- und gasdicht und eignet sich deshalb zur Verpackung von begrenzt haltbaren beziehungsweise frischen, tiefgefrorenen und aseptisch zu verpackenden Nahrungsmitteln. <IMAGE>
