[origin: EP0431418A2] The invention relates to an apparatus for bending rod-shaped, radially non-rotatable material (8), the bending device (3, 4, 5) being arranged replaceably on a bending swivel arm (1) which can be rotated as desired about the longitudinal axis (X) of the material to be bent. The bending apparatus is driven via a hydraulic cylinder extending in the longitudinal axis of the bending swivel arm. The swivelling radius (r) of the bending swivel arm itself is approximately equal to the diameter of a bending roller (5) around which the material is bent. <IMAGE>
