A portable lamp has a battery-accommodating tubular housing (11), which is closed in a pressure-proof fashion by a cover cap (12). Welded to the housing (11) itself is a tube (15), which has the form of a conical frustum and whose outer surface surrounds in a pressure-proof fashion a metal core (20) which has an internal thread (26, 27) in which a threaded ring (28) serves for fixing a lens arrangement (41, 42, 44). Owing to the fact that the tubular housing is sealed in a pressure-proof fashion with the tube, the metal ring, the threaded ring and the lens arrangement, the lamp can be used optimally as an explosion-protected portable lamp in potentially explosive regions of the zone O.

Eine Handleuchte besitzt ein batterienaufnehmendes rohrförmiges Gehäuse (11), welches mit einer Abdeckkappe (12) druckfest abgeschlossen ist. An dem Gehäuse (11) selbst ist ein kegelstumpfförmiger Tubus (15) angeschweißt, dessen Außenbereich einen Metallkern (20) druckfest umschließt, der ein Innengewinde (26, 27) aufweist, in das ein Gewindering (28) zur Fixierung einer Scheibenanordnung (41, 42, 44) dient. Dadurch, daß das rohrförmige Gehäuse mit dem Tubus, dem Metallring, dem Gewindering und der Scheibenanordnung druckdicht verschlossen ist, kann die Leuchte optimal als explosionsgeschützte Handleuchte in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen der Zone O verwendet werden. <IMAGE>
