Device for winding a web between winding rollers which act on the roll circumference and which initially form an essentially closed winding space and are arranged on a fixed rolling head, on the one hand, and a movable rolling head, on the other hand, the movable rolling head being moved during the increase in the roll diameter. A better accessibility of the roll, a higher winding speed and a larger roll, even where sensitive material is concerned, can be achieved if the movable rolling head is pivoted during this movement into a position having the function of a supporting roller. Furthermore, the control can be managed in such a way that the roll inside diameter is set different from the initial width of the winding space and a predetermined outside diameter for a given web length is thereby obtained. <IMAGE>

Vorrichtung zum Aufwickeln einer Bahn zwischen auf den Wickelumfang einwirkenden Wickelwalzen, die anfangs einen im wesentlichen geschlossenen Wickelraum bilden und an einem festen Rollkopf einerseits und einem beweglichen Rollkopf andererseits angeordnet sind, wobei der bewegliche Rollkopf während der Zunahme des Wickeldurchmessers bewegt wird. Eine bessere Zugänglichkeit des Wickels, eine höhere Wickelgeschwindigkeit sowie ein größerer Wickel auch bei empfindlichem Material läßt sich dadurch erzielen, daß der bewegliche Rollkopf bei dieser Bewegung geschwenkt wird in eine Stellung mit Tragwalzenfunktion. Ferner kann die Steuerung so geführt werden, daß der Wickelinnendurchmesser abweichend von der Anfangsweite des Wickelraums eingestellt und dadurch ein vorbestimmter Außendurchmesser bei gegebener Bahnlänge erzielt wird. <IMAGE>
