The franking machine has a franking head mounted detachably on a fixed base on which it is positioned at a specific location, is locked in place by means of an external manual control and is electrically connected by two complementary connectors of the head (5) and of the base (6), which plug into one another. <??>It is characterised in that one of the connectors (26) is movable between a so-called unplugged position and a so-called plugged-in position of the connectors (25, 26) and is coupled to the external manual control (30) for the unplugging of the connectors (25, 26) with the putting in place of the head (5) and their plugging-in with the locking of the head.

La machine à affranchir est à tête d'affranchissement montée amovible sur une base fixe sur laquelle elle est positionnée à un emplacement défini, est verrouillée en place à partir d'une commande manuelle extérieure et est raccordée électriquement par deux connecteurs complémentaires de la tête (5) et de la base (6), qui s'enfichent l'un dans l'autre. Elle est caractérisée en ce que l'un des connecteurs (26) est mobile entre une position dite de non enfichage et une position dite d'enfichage des connecteurs (25, 26) et est couplé à la commande manuelle extérieure (30), pour le non enfichage des connecteurs (25, 26) avec la mise en place de la tête (5) et leur enfichage avec le verrouillage de la tête.
