Ein Behälterträger aus faltbarem Blattmaterial für Flaschen, bei dem der vorzugsweise einteilige Zuschnitt manschettenartig um ein Behältergebinde herumlegbar ist und zwei gegenüberliegende Wandabschnitte, einen Boden- und einen Deckelabschnitt bildet, wobei im Kantenbereich zwischen den Wandabschnitten und dem Deckelabschnitt und ggf. dem Bodenabschnitt durch Stege begrenzte Öffnungen vorgesehen sind, in die der obere bzw. untere Rand des Behälters hineinsteht, soll eine merkliche Verringerung des Materialgewichts für den Zuschnitt zulassen und ohne Erhöhung des maschinellen Aufwandes auf Behältergewinde aufbringbar sein. Hierzu weisen die Öffnungen (17) an der Grenze von Deckelabschnitt (14) und Wandabschnitt (12b, 13b) eine Breite auf, die gleich oder größer als der Durchmesser des oberen Flaschenrandes ist und ist der Abstand der Rilllinien (50, 51) des Deckelabschnitts (14) größer als der Abstand der Mittenachsen von zwei aneinanderliegenden Flaschen. <IMAGE>
