[origin: EP0432055A1] A magnetic circuit (10) includes a stack of thick metal sheets (12, 14, 16), and a shading ring (18) partly surrounding the pole surface (30), whilst being arranged slightly set back, passing into a slot (28) made between two adjoining metal sheets. The slot (28) is made by stamping in the lateral face of at least one branch (24, 26) of each metal sheet. Applications: alternating current electrical equipment, in particular electromagnets, contactors, remote-control switches and MX and MN tripping auxiliaries. <IMAGE>
