[origin: WO9100168A1] A device for cutting stacked sheet material has a table surface formed of a feeding field (4) for receiving the material (5) to be cut, a working field (3) above which are arranged a cutting knife (10) and a press crosshead (9), and a delivery field (22, 23) for receiving the cut material. The delivery field is subdivided into a first zone (22) adjacent to the working field (3) and a second zone (32) located before the first. Below the delivery field, at the interface between both zones (22, 32), is arranged a first ruler (41). The second zone (32) can be lifted from a first position in which it forms a plane with the first zone (22). The first ruler (41) can also be lifted and brought to its working position with the first zone (22) of the delivery field. The delivery field can be shifted as a whole in order to form a perpendicular gap to the cutting plane (13) between itself and the working field.
