[origin: JPH03186207A] PURPOSE: To supply a specified quantity of liquid mascara to the applicator surface by forming a part of an applicator member which has an applicator surface equipped with ribs, from a material capable of transferring a liquid by the capillary action. CONSTITUTION: A liquid mascara applying tool to contain a liquid state mascara is furnished with a reserver 2 accommodating mascara liquid and an applicator member 5 having an applicator surface equipped with ribs 8. The applicator member 5 is connected to the reserver 2 so that the mascara liquid from the reserver 2 is supplied. At least a part of applicator member 5 which has applicator surface equipped with ribs 8, is formed from a material capable of transferring liquid by the capillary action (for example, straight fiber material). This enables supplying the specified quantity of liquid mascara to the applicator surface using a simple and low-cost structure.

Ein Gerät zum Auftragen von flüssiger Wimperntusche (Maskara-Stift) mit einem Reservoir (2) zur Aufnahme der Wimperntusche und mit einem Applikator (5), der eine Auftragfläche mit einem Rippenprofil (8) besitzt. Um den Herstellungsaufwand und damit den Preis des Geräts möglichst niedrig zu halten, trotzdem aber eine einwandfreie Dosierung der Wimperntusche zu ermöglichen, besteht zumindest der die Auftragfläche bildende Teil (7) des Applikators (5) aus einem die flüssige Wimperntusche durch Kapillarwirkung fördernden Material. Das Material kann ein gerichtetes Fasermaterial oder ein porös gesintertes Kunststoffmaterial sein (Fig. 1).
