The invention concerns a yarn for producing an industrial woven fabric, knitted fabric or the like on the basis of carbon, glass, aramid, ceramic fibres or the like, and proposes, for the purpose of achieving improved formability in respect of a woven fabric formed from said fibres without incurring weaving or strength disadvantages, that the fibres are staple fibres (2) grouped together by a releasable wrapping thread (3). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Faden zur Herstellung eines technischen Gewebes, Gewirkes oder dergleichen, auf der Basis von Kohle-, Glas-, Aramid-, Keramik-Fasern oder dergleichen, und schlägt zur Erzielung einer verbesserten Formbarkeit eines aus den genannten Fasern gebildeten Gewebes ohne webtechnische bzw. Festigkeitsnachteile vor, daß die Fasern als Stapelfasern (2) mit einem auflösbaren Umwindefaden (3) zusammengefaßt sind. <IMAGE>
