[origin: EP0432546A2] A piezoelectric transducer capsule (1) with a transducer plate (4) arranged in a metallic case formed by a holder (3) and a pot-like bottom (2). This transducer plate (4) is formed by a carrier plate (5) and a piezoelectric disc (6) provided with electrodes on both sides. The carrier plate (5) is clamped in its edge region between projections (7, 9) of a separating plate (8) and a carrier (10). It is the purpose of the present invention to demonstrate a connection between the blade contacts (12), used for external connection to the capsule (1), and the electrodes of the piezoelectric disc (6) which is easy to produce. This is carried out by the electrical connection to the electrodes being effected via in each case one free resilient end (20), which is under pretension and rests against the electrodes, of an L-shaped blade contact (12) which is fixed in the carrier (10) and the other free end (16) of which is freely accessible via a penetration (14) in the pot-shaped bottom (2). <IMAGE>
