Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft elektroviskose Flüssigkeiten, enthaltend im wesentlichen A) einen linearen und/oder verzweigten, gegebenenfalls funktionalisierten Polyether oder dessen Monomere, das Umsetzungsprodukt eines solchen Polyethers bzw. der Monomere mit mono- oder oligofunktionellen Verbindungen und gegebenenfalls zusätzlich weitere Additive, B) Dispergiermittel sowie, C) ein nicht-wäßriges Dispersionsmedium.
