Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0432685A1] Connector provided in order to ensure the wiring connection of an item of equipment in series to a multiconductor cable intended for the transmission of small currents. <??>It comprises a support block (5) fitted with a plate on which traversing or closed grooves are made respectively for the passage of the wires of the cable (2) and of the wires (3A, 3A') intended for the serial connection of an item of equipment. The closed grooves each adjoin one of the traversing grooves, at the position of a connecting part (6) which is housed partially in these two grooves in order to interconnect two wires. Each of the traversing grooves (20A) is endowed with a central cavity (21) which locally interrupts it and which comprises wire-cutting means (6C). The two connecting parts housed in any one traversing groove are located on either side of the cavity (21), with which this traversing groove is endowed and each connecting part permits the connection of a second, different wire (3A, 3A'). <IMAGE>
