Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0432765A2] Arranged sequentially in a development device are troughs having processing fluids required in accordance with the development process. The photosensitive material to be developed is sequentially guided by a transport device in a manner capable of being dipped into the individual troughs. In order to relieve the operator, and yet to develop a cost-effective device, it is proposed to build up the transport device from two assemblies. The first assembly consists of a lifter for each trough having openings, pointing in the sequence of the troughs, for inserting and removing the photosensitive material. In the manner of a lift, these lifters can be moved up and down between an immersion position and an extended position with respect to the trough assigned to them. The second assembly consists of limits before each receiving opening when the lifter is in its extended position. The limits are arranged above the troughs and belong to a slide. The slide can be displaced backwards and forwards in the sequence of the troughs between two end positions, the limits shifting in this process from one trough to the next. The lifting cycle of the slide and the reciprocating cycle of the slide are tuned to one another in a phase-shifted fashion. <IMAGE>
