In a connection fitting for clamping and gluing pieces, especially wooden plates (1/2), at their abutting surfaces, such as for example door linings in the mitre corners, consisting of a metal strap (4) which engages, at one end with a clamping device (8/9) and at the other end with a countermovement angle (5), into particularly rear cutouts, for example pot-shaped bores (3) of the wooden pieces (1/2) to be joined to one another, the said connection fitting is to ensure an improved pressing pressure and hence be capable of effecting clean and permanent gluing of the wooden plates (1/2). For this, the clamping device has a clamping member (9) articulated pendulously on the metal strap (4) and an adjusting screw (8) pushing, from a preferably obtuse-angled edge (7) of the metal strap (4), the free portion of said clamping member (9) towards the countermovement angle (5) and intended for pressing together the wooden pieces (1/2) at their abutting surfaces. In this arrangement, the clamping member (9) can furthermore be guided in a loosely sliding manner in a longitudinal slot (11) arranged in the web (6) of the metal strap (4), in order to compensate for dimensional differences in the spacing of the cutouts (3) of the wooden pieces (1/2), and it is also particularly preferable if the countermovement angle (5) forms an acute angle with the web (6) of the metal strap (4). <IMAGE>

Bei einem Verbindungsbeschlag zum gegenseitigen Verspannen und Verleimen insbesondere plattenförmiger Holzteile (1/2) an ihren Stoßflächen, wie z.B. von Türbekleidungen in den Gehrungsecken, bestehend aus einem einenends mit einer Spannvorrichtung (8/9) und anderenends mit einem Gegenzugwinkel (5) in vornehmlich rückseitige Aussparungen, beispielsweise Topfbohrungen (3), der miteinander zu verbindenden Holzteile (1/2) eingreifenden Metallbügel (4) soll erreicht werden, daß er für einen verbesserten Anpreßdruck sorgt und somit in der Lage ist, eine saubere sowie dauerhafte Verleimung der plattenförmigen Holzteile (1/2) zu bewirken. Hierfür weist die Spannvorrichtung ein pendelartig am Metallbügel (4) angelenktes Spannglied (9) und eine von einer vorzugsweise stumpfwinkligen Abkantung (7) des Metallbügels (4) her den freien Abschnitt dieses Spanngliedes (9) in Richtung auf den Gegenzugwinkel (5) drückende, zum Aneinanderpressen der Holzteile (1/2) an ihren Stoßflächen bestimmte Stellschraube (8) auf. Dabei kann außerdem das Spannglied (9) Maßunterschiede im Abstand der Aussparungen (3) der Holzteile (1/2) ausgleichend lose gleitend in einem im Steg (6) des Metallbügels (4) angeordneten Längsschlitz (11) geführt sein, und ebenso ist es besonders vorteilhaft, wenn der Gegenzugwinkel (5) mit dem Steg (6) des Metallbügels (4) einen spitzen Winkel bildet. <IMAGE>
