The invention relates to a seat such as a couch, armchair or settee, which will be applied in particular by furniture manufacturers. <??>The invention concerns the conversion of seats with low aesthetic lines into comfortable seats. L'invention est relative à un siège tel que canapé, fauteuil, banquette de salon, qui trouvera notamment son application chez les fabricants de mobilier. L'invention concerne la transformation des sièges de ligne esthétique basse en des sièges confortables. Pour cela, le dossier (3) du siège (1) comporte des têtières (8) articulées qui peuvent soit se déployer verticalement pour offrir une zone d'appui à l'ensemble du dos et un repose tête pour l'occupant du siège, soit se rabattre contre le dossier (3) pour s'escamoter et respecter la ligne esthétique du meuble. <IMAGE>
