Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a method for producing a sparkplug well and the sparkplug well element for implementing this method. The method according to the invention is characterised in that it consists in inserting and maintaining in a fixed position a tubular element (11) in the mould of a cylinder head (1) during the casting operation for the latter, the element (11) having a flange (11b) serving to position and maintain the element (11) in a sand core for forming the oil chamber (2) of the cylinder head (1). The present invention has applications in the sphere of motor vehicles. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne un procédé de réalisation de puits de bougie ainsi que l'élément de puits de bougie pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé. Le procédé conforme à l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste à insérer et maintenir en position fixe un élément tubulaire (11) dans le moule d'une culasse (1) pendant l'opération de coulage de cette dernière, l'élément (11) comportant une collerette (11b) servant à positionner et maintenir l'élément (11) dans un noyau en sable de formation de la chambre d'huile (2) de la culasse (1). La présente invention trouve application dans le domaine de l'automobile. <IMAGE>
