Procédé de commande d'un four à micro-ondes à tube de production de micro-ondes tel qu'un magnétron, caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste: - dans un début d'un cycle d'un traitement d'un aliment ou une boisson à faire fonctionner le tube de production de micro-ondes à sa puissance maximale Pn pendant un temps au maximum égal à un temps de réchauffement de ce tube de production de micro-ondes ou de l'un ou des accessoires d'alimentation et de refroidissement de ce tube, pris comme référence tels qu'un transformateur, c'est-à-dire le temps de montée de température, de sa ou leur température au repos, à sa ou leur température limite prédéterminée de fonctionnement, et - dans le reste de ce cycle de traitement, à faire travailler le tube de production de micro-ondes à une puissance préétablie de marche normale, inférieure à sa puissance maximale Pn.
